The Audubon Center of the North Woods in Sandstone is setting aside a few weekends this summer as Volunteer Work Weekends and could use your help on a variety of projects.
Maybe you've been here many times and would love the opportunity to visit again and give back. Or perhaps you've never been here and would love to come and check us out?
These weekends are the perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy our beautiful location at no cost in exchange for some volunteer work on a variety of projects. After the work day is done, you will be free to hike our trails, canoe or fish on Grindstone Lake, maybe take a swim, or simply relax and soak up the nature that abounds on our 535-acre refuge.
There is no charge for these days and weekends. However, we do request that you pre-register so we know how many to expect for meal service and supplies.
Many hands make short work. Bring a group of friends or come solo and meet new people!
