School greenhouse
I am a retired community organizer and small-scale farmer. For two years my wife and I have been partnering with the Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley School on a community-school garden project. The youth work in the garden to produce vegetables that are donated to the senior citizen programs here in Graceville. This last growing season 150 young people worked in the garden. The success of the community school garden has created some positive energy in the community and has moved people to think of other possibilities. The Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley School Board at its regular meeting on December 14, 2009, gave us the go-ahead to begin exploring the possibility of building a greenhouse at one of the two schools in the C-G-B District. There does not seem to be much in the way of precedents for an on-campus greenhouse at an elementary, middle or high school in Minnesota. Is there any such in Minnesota? Even if there is, we are asking for every kind of assistance on all the issues that might be involved in bringing forward such a greenhouse project: - design, with an eye to keeping operating costs to a minimum - applicable rules and regs - capital funding - operation and management - operating funds - educational use of a greenhouse - greenhouse for a school lunch program

Looking for a New computer to support ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) Program
The ECFE program in Roseville is in need of a new computer donation to support our program. We believe that the early education (birth - 5yrs) provided by our program serves as an important stepping block for a love of school, learning and life. The money that our program recieves from the state is used for funding teacher salaries and does not cover upgrading technology expenses. Each year funding for our program falls short and we hold fundraisers to fill in the gaps. The money from these fundraisers helps to support materials for the program and creates scholarships for families that need financial assistance. This year our scholarship needs have grown and we are left with no money for a new computer. Our Three Parent Educators are in need of a shared computer to support their positions.

Looking for Digital cameras
I use digital images in my science instruction as means to integrate technology education and scientific proof for the students to include in lab reports as well as documentation for students on field trips. Another use our school will utilize them for is the yearbook, (I am one of the club advisors). These cameras will not sit on the shelf they will be used by students. If the cameras are 6 mega bytes or better that would be preferred, they do not need be to the newest models, they just need to be in working order. Thank you for your help, Sam
